The Bank of Holland buys silence

Aruba:

Eric Zaadam is the president of the police corps union of Aruba.

"I want to believe that the people have to rest assured that justice is proceeding as it should", Mr. Zaadam said emphatically.

You want to believe that but, you can't, can you Mr. Zaadam?

Paulus van der sloot is about to sue your police department and his current employer for mis-treating him with suspicion.

Ms. Janssen has no suspects in custody. She now will be responsible for advising the court why Paulus should not be granted damages.

Paulus is now a victim of Karin Janssen's office, the police department and his son. Ms. Janssen's only success has been to "damage" Paulus van der sloot's reputation.

This isn't a justice system, it's a corporate procedure.

"I want to believe that the people have to rest assured that justice is proceeding as it should", Mr. Zaadam said emphatically."

Schippers said tonight she doesn't think the prosecution has enough evidence. How do you know Arlene? Has Janssen told you? Where is the separation of powers you keep barking about?

So it's true the Strategic Command Task Force are really a defense team for Paulus? You seem to be giving cover, attacking the victim. Jeff Lesker, president of AHTA says "there is no evidence whatsoever." How does he know?

"I want to believe that the people have to rest assured that justice is proceeding as it should", Mr. Zaadam said emphatically."

Where are the security guards?

They were useful for those 10 days weren't they? Did they swallow a little pride and take the cash already?

If you can't destroy all the evidence, you can buy the rest? How much would the security guards have gotten if they delivered a conviction?

They're as quiet as the landfill.

"I want to believe that the people have to rest assured that justice is proceeding as it should", Mr. Zaadam said emphatically."

Janssen, your lack of leadership is sadistic. You are an accomplice to a legal embezzlement by Paulus van der sloot. A victim of his own failure, his reptutation ruined by his son's rape and murder. And Aruba should pay him?

"I want to believe that the people have to rest assured that justice is proceeding as it should", Mr. Zaadam said emphatically."
